Damage to Weston’s Aquifer Protection District

  • Our ‘Aquifer Protection District’ is designed to safeguard Weston’s current and future water supply.
  • The Weston Whopper site is adjacent to the Aquifer Protection District. See the map below.
  • The Whopper would generate 12.9 million gallons of contaminated sewage effluent every year. The developer has not explained where all of this sewage would go.
  • Sewage effluent could pollute ground water, flow into Bogle Brook and adjacent wetlands and damage our Aquifer Protection District.
  • This is another clear threat to public health.
